FrontPoint: "FrontPoint is a blog written by folks from the dev/pm/test teams who create FrontPage. Were here to discuss the many cool things that can be done using FrontPage with SharePoint web sites. Were also here to talk about the neat stuff that can be done with FrontPage in general for building web sites, but there will be a decided editorial focus on working with SharePoint sites.
This is not a marketing site, this is the voice of a few individuals with their own opinions (*see disclaimer) and who care passionately about building cool stuff on top of SharePoint technologies using FrontPage. FrontPage and SharePoint have a history of two releases of working closely, yet a surprising number of people dont know what can be done when these products are used together. We hope that by opening a conversation with you and FrontPage insiders, we can bring together more people who want to build amazing things with FrontPage and SharePoint.
FrontPoint contributors are:
John Jansen - Tester and XSLT data views expert
Charles Parker FrontPage dev lead responsible for XSLT support and SharePoint integration
Rob Mauceri Lead program manager for FrontPage and SharePoint integration
and you can expect to hear from other FrontPage insiders from time to time. Leave a comment and tell us what else you'd like to see discussed in this space."

New Site Members Web Part - Jazmine Framework Update: "I have made a number of updates to the Jazmine Web Part Framework over the last few days. Cleaned a number of things up and added a new Site Members Web Part. Dustin Miller, President of SharePoint Experts, posted information about how to implement SharePoint style drop-down menus and I knew I would have to find a way to put it to use. I have wrapped the SharePoint look alike menu as a ASP.NET Server Control. In addition I have created a Site Members Web Part that includes who is currently logged in and a link to e-mail all members.
I have added a couple of snap-shots of the Site Members Web Part Below."

Thom Robbins' .NET WeblogI was visiting a customer last week that had recently deployed SharePoint within their enterprise. The good news was that it had caught on like wild fire within in a relatively short period of time. Users had created almost five thousand sites and the number was increasing. The main focus of our conversation was around how they could manage these. They certainly didn’t want to delete those sites that in use, but were afraid of large amounts of static data.

Attune Systems - Public Projects - Jazmine: "After discussions with Attune Systems CTO, we have decided this project will be moved to SourceForge.Net and managed as Open Source. There is a lot of advantages to doing this. The first and foremost is source code control. SourceForge.Net will provide us with a CVS repository for the project -- and it doesn't cost us anything.

We will move the code once it has reached what we consider v1.0. Until then, you can obtain the source from here. When the transfer is made, we will let you know here.

This site will stay in tact and containg all information, documentation, help files, etc..."

SpsDev - Tools for Microsoft SharePoint Technologies Users and Developers: "SpsDev.Com is here to provide you with the tools, utilities and knowledge to get the most out of Microsoft SharePoint Portal Technologies. We have a new and growing line of products that will become available over the next several months to help fill in some of the gaps in an otherwise stellar product offering from Microsoft - Windows SharePoint Services and Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003.
Our site will continue to grow as additional products come online, product progress from beta to release, and additional useful information for getting the most out of your portal investment becomes available. Here are the new products we've brought online recently:
New!RSS Author
Really Simple Syndication, or RSS, is a very cool and emerging technology on the Internet. The RSS format is just Xml, and allows the use of RSS readers to consume data from RSS providers. Those readers then typically present the information in a format similar to newsgroups. RSS Author from SpsDev allows you to easily publish data from your lists or document libraries in either Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 or Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2003 in an RSS feed file format. RSS readers can then easily read this data and alert your users to content from your sites.

New!Web Manager
SharePoint Products and Technologies are great, so great in fact that your users are creating sites left and right. How many sites do you have out there? Which sites contain the most content or the most users? How many sites does Joe or Sally have across the organization, and how much space is each using? How about tracking usage - who's hitting what webs, and what documents are they downloading? And wouldn't it be great if you could get a consolidated view of this information for ALL your team site"
