A BOOK on MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0
Jay Simcox saw this in the MS Beta web forums and downloaded it. Some very good informations on the changes in MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0 including walk-throughs, code, explanations of features etc...
It's a only drawback is that is NOT printable!

MOSS and WSS 2007 FR on my VPC
A standalone server... some Free download from Combined Knowledge is an IT Training and Consultancy Company in USA.Install Office SharePoint Server in standalone mode. You will see the setup completes successfully, but you will get an error when navigating to the portal.
Go and see on : Installing Moss 2007 beta 2 on a domain controller workaround Copy these 5 files to a local folder, and all go well... and read also an Vanessa Williams for the installation VPC, and Installed Windows Server 2003 on a dynamically expanding virtual hard drive. A quick and easy way to change the SharePoint default header by Heater Solomon
Into something customized for your SharePoint install is to swap out the image used in the header style sheet class. You can easily change the graphic in the OWS.css style sheet located in the \60\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033\STYLES directory or add it to your custom created style sheet that is specified in the site settings. These changes will affect both portal and WSS sites.

That name just rolls of the tongue, doesn’t it? But there is an important reason why this cool new technology is “for Office SharePoint Server 2007.” We’ll talk about that in more detail in future blog entries. TechED 2006 from ARPANS
ARPANS say : TechEd 2006 is going to be a BIG event for SharePoint technologies. It nicely falls in the same timeframe as the public beta for Office 2007 which includes Office SharePoint Server 2007. Windows SharePoint Services v3 public beta will also be available in the same timeframe. The fact that it happens to be in Boston this year doesn't hurt eirther.
