How to get a flash movie in SharePoint

All you need to do is :

1. upload the .SWF file to a web location
2. add a content editor web part to your page.
3. Now go into your content editor web part and click on source editor.
4. Now paste the following code into the web part:

sharepointbranding Setting up a WSS v 3.0 Site Definition

1. Unzip CustomSite.zip and copy to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\SiteTemplates
2. Cut and paste WEBTEMPCUSTOM.XML to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\1033\XML
3. Then go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\1033 and make a copy of the sts folder (in the same location) and rename it to CustomSite.
4. Close all windows and click start...run...iisreset.
5. Create a new WSS site and select "Custom Team Site" from the list of templates.
6. You should now have a custom WSS 2007 site with no top navigation.

A quick and easy way to change the SharePoint default header by Heater Solomon

Into something customized for your SharePoint install is to swap out the image used in the header style sheet class. You can easily change the graphic in the OWS.css style sheet located in the \60\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033\STYLES directory or add it to your custom created style sheet that is specified in the site settings. These changes will affect both portal and WSS sites.

Connecting to a Team Foundation Server

Teamlook allows the user to associate and connect to multiple Microsoft Team Foundation Servers, each which can contain multiple Team Projects. By clicking the Teamlook menu on the Microsoft Outlook 2003 Toolbar and selecting the Teamlook Options menu item, a user can connect to a number of Team Foundation Servers. For each server, specific projects can be brought into the Teamlook Projects View by clicking on the Add Projects button.

Windows Folder web part

This Windows Folder web part allows users to store files within a standard Windows (NTFS) folder in a shared network location and display a list of those files in a SharePoint page via a consistent ‘document library’-style interface. A new NTFS sub-folder is automatically created for each SharePoint site that is configured to display the Windows Folder web part, underneath a 'root' NTFS shared folder on a defined server. The NTFS security ACLs for each sub-folder are automatically synchronised to match the list of SharePoint users for the site, so the administrator experience is simply to "drag and drop" the web part. Works best if Kerberos authentication is used. Full documentation, source code and install files are included in the download.
