sharepointbranding Setting up a WSS v 3.0 Site Definition

1. Unzip CustomSite.zip and copy to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\SiteTemplates
2. Cut and paste WEBTEMPCUSTOM.XML to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\1033\XML
3. Then go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\1033 and make a copy of the sts folder (in the same location) and rename it to CustomSite.
4. Close all windows and click start...run...iisreset.
5. Create a new WSS site and select "Custom Team Site" from the list of templates.
6. You should now have a custom WSS 2007 site with no top navigation.

A quick and easy way to change the SharePoint default header by Heater Solomon

Into something customized for your SharePoint install is to swap out the image used in the header style sheet class. You can easily change the graphic in the OWS.css style sheet located in the \60\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033\STYLES directory or add it to your custom created style sheet that is specified in the site settings. Connecting to a Team Foundation Server

Teamlook allows the user to associate and connect to multiple Microsoft Team Foundation Servers, each which can contain multiple Team Projects. By clicking the Teamlook menu on the Microsoft Outlook 2003 Toolbar and selecting the Teamlook Options menu item, a user can connect to a number of Team Foundation Servers.
